Hi!

Post by Hayz88 » Sun Jul 16, 2017 11:20 am

After falling off the NoS bandwagon years ago, I thought it'd be a good idea to sign up here and to try clambering back on the wagon again.

:)

I'm not very good at introductions but I thought I'd say hi, and I look forward to getting to know people here (and to successfully NoS-ing again).

Hi, Hayz88, welcome back :-)

I'm another one who fell of the bandwagon. I'm hoping that posting on here fairly regularly will help me stay on track.

Greetings from Germany!

Welcome back! Many of us have been in this position. Make sure you check out the sticky above, especially the thread: Why did you leave? Why are you back? https://everydaysystems.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=10878

Here's to a great second half of 2017. What was your username before? Looks like you made a new profile.

You wouldn't be the first to be able to make it stick after a time away. They might even have a better track record!

Thanks everyone!

Sorry for the delay in replying - I managed to forget my password, along with which email address I used to register...

I'm not sure what my username was before - I think it was similar to the one I have now, but it was long enough ago that I can't recall it.

I think I fell off of the bandwagon due to not forming good enough habits before I tried modding what I was doing, and then I was sucked in by the idea of various popular diets. I've realised though, that no s is the only way I'll change things for good, so I'm trying again. Hopefully, if I can also form the habit of posting here regularly, I'll find it easy to stick to with the extra Accountability that comes with sharing your successes and failures with other people. :D

Welcome Hazy88. So far I am finding that the extra accountability is making a lot of difference.

Premature optimization. A common problem, despite the exceptions.

I assume you would make mods because of slow weight loss. I've seen a lot of people return weighing even more, wishing they had just stuck with that slow loss.

I think your odds of success have gone up, since you see the wisdom more now.
