A sweet?

Post by Panther » Fri Oct 27, 2017 2:52 am

Hi, would you consider eggo waffles, the kind you stick in the toaster to be a sweet? I do put syrup on it, but on the website it says if you have to wonder then it's probably fine. And I don't feel like binging on them, and I get a growing stomach before lunch time even. I have two waffles. Im struggling, so am committed to doing no s vanilla this time! :)

The waffles are fine. The syrup is not. How about having them with butter instead?

I don't eat syrup during the week personally. I do all savory breakfasts.

I would personally not count that as an S. But I don’t like to get hung up on things like that. I eat peanut butter and jam sandwiches a couple times a week and use a generous spoon of real jam. Real maple syrup is amazing and you don’t need that much anyway. Just my opinion. I think a lot of these small decisions are personal and I love that about No S. It doesn’t micromanage your food choices.

I'd eat two waffles with either PB and jelly or with syrup for a meal. Not often...but I'd do it.
