Hello, can I join in?

Post by Kates » Mon Nov 20, 2017 4:05 am

Hello people,

I am a 55 year old female. Married, Mum of 3. I am not actually overweight, but in a few more pounds I will be, things are creeping slowly up.....and now it is silly season!

Snacks are my downfall, a handful of nuts here, a muffin there! I actually eat a healthy diet in general, and I run for exercise as well as doing a martial art.

So I thought maybe joining in here would help me get the snacking under control. I will not starve to death if I don’t have a Lara bar after a class! I can wait until I get home and eat my supper!

And yet I enjoy a coffee and muffin with my husband at the weeken, so maybe this way of eating will work for me. Here goes!

Kate.

You are in an enviable position: not panicked about your weight, etc. I think you'll be very happy. I'd love to hear your feedback after a few weeks' compliance.

Just keep thinking about how good that next meal will be. I've NEVER been sorry I waited for the meal, and am almost always a bit sorry if I didn't.
