Marking a NWS day for 2nd March - although it was more an S 'event' as the daytime was vanilla NoS, evening involved a celebration and dessert.

One S event on an S day is what they are meant to be eventually anyway. (bk.p. 105) Sounds like you used it perfectly.

I'm pretty good at keeping the NWS days as a single S, working on it for regular S days! This month I'm working at not perma snacking on regular S days, and keeping my S's wherever possible to meal times.

It took me two years to finally be willing to do that. I have other issues that affect that and it's sometimes still a challenge so I instituted a further mod recently. I was hooooooked!

I’d like to jump in even if month already started. My ultimate goal is to do Vanilla No S because for me it gets too easy to get derailed when I start making exceptions. However I don’t feel ready to do that at the moment so would like to tackle a couple of things that could help me get started on the right track. A big one is “no more solitary eatingâ€. Example no buying chocolate on way home from work and eating it in the car with no witnesses :oops:
Another one is no snacks after supper.
I hope I can stick to it. I tend to get discouraged when I just get reds and then I stop tracking. But I’ll keep trying ...

12/13: No excuse for snacks after supper. I wasn’t hungry. Just exhausted and frustrated so a lot of emotional eating happening.[/colori]
14: Really not doing good overall with eating and exercising. Feel very discouraged. Only reason I didn’t get a red for after supper snack is because I fell asleep on the couch and went straight to bed when I woke up.

15 NWS = Trip with DH to celebrate our 34th wedding anniversary. We're hiding out at a friend's house in a remote location, so shouldn't be too bad.

Yippee!!! I previously set Friday 16 as NWS day for getaway with DH. But I was able to resist the snacks & make it a bona fide N day. We even went out for dinner, and I thoroughly enjoyed 1/3 of what was served, saving the rest for other days.

I enjoyed an ok S Day on Saturday, Sunday was a little over the top but not too bad all things considered.

Dang it I lost my entire calendar trying to cut and paste it so it would get bumped and someone who might need the reminder would get an email. ! With only three days to go in March! I lost the exercise part on Spark. Too many moving parts!

Phew well March was a bust... husband was horribly ill (six hospital visits in eight days) and the stress and weird routine led to some very not good eating. Some days I just ate two meals, some days I ate a whole cake :oops: :roll: I was also away for part of March with family and friends so had mostly a mixture of S days and failure days.

Onwards to April!
