just saw this video referred from another site and I thoght you might be interested. It is for hand / grip strength....not as fucntional as the normal shovelglove moves...but interesting!

I had my 10#er in the house, the 8# is out in the garage and I didn't feel like getting it (cold and rainy outside).
I wasn't able to do the 2-handed version, the one at the beginning of the video.
I had better luck with the one-handed version starting at 0:38. I was able to go all the up to the hammer head, but not back down.
Cool exercise!
I'm also looking into getting an old truck tire to beat... good aggression release. LOL. Lots have talked about sledgehammer training with tires, like in this video.

Just noticed this workout, too.
Check out the first 'arm' movement......perfect for shovelgloving.
The 2nd movement is just hitting the sledge against the ground. I really like the first movement for the arms, though.
Will have to try it out late today.
