One year!! 36 lbs down!!

(New!) Read (or post) about people who have stuck with No-S for 10 or more months, lost 10 or more pounds, or 10 or more percent for their starting weight. Periodic updates strongly encouraged -- you can think of it as "Yearly Check In."

One year!! 36 lbs down!!

Post by little lion » Sat Jul 19, 2014 1:42 am

I just passed my 1 year anniversary. I have lost 36 lbs total.

I have noticed that my days are pretty much always green. It's gets easier the longer you go. I will never not follow this diet.

I have plateaued the last three months, only losing 3 lbs, but- it's still a loss!!!

Food has lost it's control over me and while I enjoy my S days and still need to focus on what I am eating when I am eating, I don't snack and I can easily turn down sweets on N days. All because of this diet.

I predict that I still have at least 10 lbs to go, but even if I don't lose them I am fine with where I am. This year coming I am going to work on my plated portions and fit in exercising. Yes! I lost 36 lbs in one year with no exercise.

Thank you Reinhard for this!!!

Great job!

So good to hear, "Food has lost it's control over me."

And remember "maintenance is progress." You are losing more slowly, but as long as you do not go backwards, you are making progress!

Brilliantly done! If you still lose you haven't plateaued ;)

Very inspiring indeed!

Congratulations and thank you for letting us know!

The numbers are great, but even more encouraging is how solidly in place your habits are!

Very impressive!

I lost my weight (over a much longer period of time) without exercise, too. Not the best way to live, but there it is.

Continued success with this sane way of eating and living.

Would you be willing to post a regular days menu. A Monday-Friday day. Do you mostly cook at home?

thank you
