Starting at 385 Pounds

Post by Username » Sat Oct 22, 2016 11:41 pm

I signed up to this website about 5 years ago, but didn't stick with No S, just like I haven't stuck with all the diet attempts the last 20 years or so. I've gained about 80 pounds since then and am up to 385 pounds. I'm kind of tired of thinking about food and/or diets all the time, so I thought I'd check this site out again. I was thinking I would start Monday, but I guess technically I'm starting today (Saturday).

Anyways, just thought I'd say hello and all.

Hello Travis. Welcome back. Consider doing a daily check in, it keeps me(us) honest. Take it one step at a time with No S. Reinhard's shovelglove is a great every day activity that you don't need to drive to some fitness facility either.

Wishing you the very best of luck! I am new to NoS and finding it is suiting me very well so far. Slow weight loss but I am doing this to change my relationship with food so I'm prepared for it to take time :)
I am doing the October Challenge and finding it very helpful.

Welcome Travis!

That's the same reason I started NoS. I was so tired of constantly obsessing. It's exhausting.

Best of luck!

Welcome back, Travis!

Best of luck getting it to stick this time.

Sometimes having made a throrugh survey of all the other (bad) options can be just what you need to make No S work.

Please keep posting if you have questions or run into trouble or need support.

Reinhard
