New to shovelglove.

Take a sledgehammer and wrap an old sweater around it. This is your "shovelglove." Every week day morning, set a timer for 14 minutes. Use the shovelglove to perform shoveling, butter churning, and wood chopping motions until the timer goes off. Stop. Rest on weekends and holidays. Baffled? Intrigued? Charmed? Discuss here.

New to shovelglove.

Post by Tim4701 » Wed Sep 20, 2006 5:01 am

I just did 14 minutes for the first time along with push-ups afterward and actually enjoyed it. I think I'll be able to keep this up because of the simplicity, but also just because it is convienient and somewhat imaginative. Just wanted to mention I found shovelgloving from the healthhacks podcasts which are pretty cool (good job Reinhard). Also just wanted to mention that Walmart has an 8#er for ~$13 for the budget minded that want to give this a try.

Welcome, Tim. Glad the podcasts are getting the word out, they've been fun to do.

Thanks for the wallmart tip.

P.S. -- if there are any walmart execs lurking here, I'm open to a strategic partnership :-)

Hey Tim! That's a heck of a deal on that sledge. I paid 25 for my 12# at the Home "Despot".

Welcome to the club - be sure to keep us updated on your progress!

Sellout! :p :lol
1 Picture = 1,000 words
0:01s Video = 30 pictures
therefore, 0:01s Video = 30,000 words
