Honey and Jelly

Post by GogoMya » Sun May 31, 2009 12:53 am

Hi,
Today is my first day on the site so of course I have some questions. First, I was wondering where does the No S stand on honey (which I use on my plain kellogs corn flakes) and jelly...what's Peanut Butter without it??!! I love my PB&J sandwhiches and I'm thinking I can't have that during the week for lunch on this diet....is that the case?
Cheers!

Hi and welcome :)
Honey and Jelly are both okay if used in smallish amounts.
If you eat three PB&J sandwiches a day, it would be an S...
Also, same with Honey.. Just like sugar, is allowed like a little in tea or on cereal... just try to keep from pouring it on thick.
And keep in mind, as good as it is, honey is really pretty sweet, so I'd watch how much you use. Think it's about twice the calories of cane sugar.. Still, it's okay in moderate amounts.

This diet isn't about eliminating all sugar, or ruining your enjoyment of your little pleasures.
