can one of you ladies refresh my memory as to which psalm talks abou how "He knew us before we were born.....and knitted in the womb".......
Wanted to look that up again but couldn't find it.

Are you thinking of Psalm 139? It's my favorite Psalm!

13 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body

Thank you Bella....slightly different wording in my Bible but exactly what I was looking for.....I thought it was 119 for some reason.
I find this comforting to me and what I need. Nice to think about while pregnant too I imagine. Hope your pregnancy is going well. I love being pregnant.

Yes Psalm 139 is awesome....to think that God knew us before we were born is great..and what a great for both of you that are expecting..

Thanks for sharing..I know that we probably have quite a few of them...

For sheer beauty I've always loved Matthew 6:28-29

In terms of spiritual importance, I find it hard to top Matthew 19:26:

In my women's Bible study this year, we are dissecting Philippians. Soooo many lovely snipets. Here are a few that pop out for me:


Phil 1:2 - "For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain."
Phil 1:27 - "Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ."
Phil 2:14 - "Do everything without grumbling or arguing"
Phil 4:6-7 - "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Phil 4:8 - "whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things.
Phil 4:13 - "I can do all things through him who gives me strength."

Whew :D I guess that was more than a few verses.
