Greetings, First of all my post are relatively short because I am a rotten keyboardist/typist or whatever the proper term is. Second, I may have the perfect answer to another more aerobically based workout - indoor mountain climbing. All you need are steps and a watch. A walkman might be helpful too. after going up and down the steps a few times the other day and saying #%&* this is hard -- An idea hit me to do it as exercise. Suppossedly 12 minutes is the magic time to make something aerobic according to Covert Baily of Fit or Fat fame, so 14 is just gravy with something this intense. If it gets too easy strap on a rucksack. Honestly after five minutes or so I'm beat, but my lungs and legs are getting stronger. I know that this might sound boring, but the sweat and heaving chest keep your mind of the boring aspect. Also You don't have to keep a sledge hammer aroung the house. I might as well have a loaded machine gun around with my kids. Ray |
