Mine's not even a real system, just responding to yours from last week :) Peace, Deb :) Ray's post was interesting I thought, but the argument about the roses example was just, in my mind, a symptom of a less visible, underlying problem... Some people like to fight! It wasn't probably even about the poor roses, it was just that some people can only feel happy when they are controlling everything about their environment, including their "turf"... Gives them a false sense of power and control...So I don't really think the roses were "insignificant" to either neighbor...they represented the issue of territory... sounded like the typical neighbor crap that happens to many people ever since the Hetfields and McCoys. Real stupid stuff and low level functioning... Unfortunately a huge portion of the US thinks on this "today on Montel Williams" or "Judge Judy" level and people don't walk around saying "Hmmm. I think today I will honor Mahatma Ghandi and practice non violent resistance." Well I can get pretty riled up if the wrong person looks at me funny so who am I to talk? LOL :) Time to practice some chanting and pacifism :) Love, Deb |
