Sorry about not checking in for a while. Due to my wild changes in schedule, I am having trouble keeping to No Snacking. Even though the transgressions are slight (two or three cookies, or some low fat ice cream), I'm going to have wait until I can continue.

Got up to day 13... yesterday was a failed though. I had about five tablespoons of ice cream. Don't really see the fault, but hey, the rule's the rule.

The rules are starting to come naturally now. I really like where this is going. I'm still having little cravings for chocolate though.

As long as it's unbuttered (preferably low-fat) and replaces a meal, I would count it as normal. It's just popped corn after all. The nutritional aspect of it is not so bad.

Eh, some men like fat women. I really don't mind weight that much.

My personal goal is to look better and be in a better shape. I don't really have things that make me resent being fat, except from seeing myself in the mirror. I'd settle for "husky".

Sure... keep in mind, though, that while it's true that we are fatter, the concept of the "obesity epidemic" is a fabrication of the government. This was an S-day for me, but I still maintained the rules. I did have a thought of having seconds for lunch... for about five seconds.

I definitely count this as a success. Tomorrow I may have a chocolate chip cookie. We'll see.

Yes, you are correct. People think there is a disconnect between the big things of life and the daily experience, but that's not true. Our life is made of nothing BUT small decisions, if you think about it. It's the accumulation of small decisions which make a large success or problem.

Exactly Steve, that is why I think the rule is not that good, if you're going to follow it strictly. Sometimes I don't really have lunch but just have a few bites of something (like an hour ago I had a few bites of beef noodle, and I might have a couple more). I don't consider that "snacking".
