As Seen on TV

Post by wosnes » Sat Jun 15, 2013 3:33 am

I was watching Jeopardy! this evening (I like seeing how much I know). Alex Trebek made a comment on one of the contestant's "unusual" diet. He eats sensibly six days a week and on Saturday eats whatever he wants (sounded like an S day gone wild). In two years he lost 25 pounds. There was no mention of what he considered "sensible" eating.

The interesting thing wasn't the weight loss or the S day gone wild. It was that he seemed to be very comfortable with that wild day and had no plans to make it less wild.

I caught the tail end of that and am glad to know what the details were. I did heard Trebek say something about jellybeans and some other candy and Never on Sunday.

I remember him saying that he has a major sweet tooth and this was a way to indulge the sweet tooth without going overboard every day.

There are S Days when I go wild. A kind of what the heck day. I have found when I do that my next S Day is usually more under control.
