I just came across a cook book called "Budget Bytes". So far, so good. The premise, learn to eat well, but do so frugally.
The author's suggestion number 6, out of 6? Practice portion control. Eating less (until satiated) means you need to buy less. I did a palm plant on my forehead with that one.

I've been visiting the website for a couple of years now and have the book on my Kindle. I enjoy both. I'll admit that I'd never thought about portion control as a money saver.
