Jellybeans check in (starting again)

Counting carbs/calories is a drag. Obsessive scale stepping is a recipe for despair. If you want to count something, "days on habit" is a much better metric. Checking off days on a calendar would do just fine, but if you do it here you get accountability and support. Here's how. Start a new topic in this forum called (say) "Your Name Daily Check In." Then every N day post a "reply" to that topic as to whether you stayed on habit. A simple "<font color="green">SUCCESS</font>" or "<font color="red">FAILURE</font>" (or your preferred euphemism if that's too harsh) is sufficient, but obviously you're welcome to write more if you want. On S-days just register that you're taking an S-day. You don't have to do this forever, just until you're confident you've built the habit. Feel free to check in weekly or monthly or sporadically instead of daily. Feel free also to track other habits besides No-s (I'm keeping this forum under No-s because that's what the vast majority are using it for). See also my <a href="/habitcal/">HabitCal</a> tool for another more formal (and perhaps complementary) way to track habits.

I am doing the no s through pregnancy. I tend to let myself go a little to much and regret it after giving birth.
So day 1
vanilla no s

day two went well. I did four small meals with no snacks, sweets, or seconds. This is working better for my nausea. Want a snack so bad, but not giving in.

yesterday was bust! I did fine except after dinner time, after the kids are down and I am relaxing with hubby. This is my biggest biggest problem. Whats the deal??

Being aware of problems is part of addressing them, right?

That's my worst time too. I'm on my fourth time restarting No-S. I've finally gotten down the habit (I finally have six weeks down) of not eating after I put the 3-year-old monster down! ha. It's just the way we relax after a long day. Do you usually sit in front of the tv and eat? That was my problem. Now I just have some water and/or occasionally a glass of wine. Of course you'd probably do something like tea......ha! I sometimes even go for a walk after I put him down to clear my mind! Just some ideas....

I am not doing to well. I am having a hard time with nausea. It seems that the only time I feel okay is if my stomach is full.
Late night eating is getting to me. I really thought is was a de stressing thing, but my stomach is literally growling at 9.

Yay, I'm finally feeling normal again, nausea is almost non existant, so I'm back with my no s pregnancy plan. I had to stop for a few months and I love being back to the no s. I am hoping this will keep me from gaining to much pregnancy weight, for many reasons.

halfway done with pregnancy and 10lbs. Not to bad. I am following no s, but I have not been perfect, I still struggle with after dinner eating.
