Let's throw a party!

(New!) Read (or post) about people who have stuck with No-S for 10 or more months, lost 10 or more pounds, or 10 or more percent for their starting weight. Periodic updates strongly encouraged -- you can think of it as "Yearly Check In."

Let's throw a party!

Post by Clarica » Sat Sep 10, 2011 4:31 pm

I'm not the 300 pound monster anymore!

Today I am the 299 pound monster.

21st of January, 2010 - probably over 350 pounds
10th of September, 2011 - 299!

I don't really have much to add since my last story. I may be losing more than a half pound a week right now, and I think it is more stressful than, you know, before.

But not in terms of deciding when, or how much to eat! Yay!

Congratulations! I bet you really like your results! What's cool about how things are going?

Congratulations! That is a truly exciting accomplishment.

I do have one quibble with your post, though. I'm sure you were never a monster, regardless of weight. You were, and are, a woman strong enough to tackle this problem. You should be so proud of yourself!

Oh, I like to think of myself as taming the inner beast within. It's not all about food, you know! :)

Congratulations, Clarica!

I'm not a stickler for numbers when it comes to weight loss, but that's a very satisfying threshold to have crossed!

Thank you so much for letting us know.

Thanks everyone! I'm kind of dazed, but only because I'm sleep-deprived. It is a momentary thrill, to cross the line on scale day!

Sorry I'm so late to the party but perhaps a booster is welcome as we go into the holiday season. Hurray!
