Oolala and bunsofaluminium I just wanted to say that your posts have really helped me. I still tend to get a bit caught up in the weight loss side of things, when in actual fact huge and wonderful things are happening with my attitude to food. So you have given me a timely reminder that even if the ...

Re: Mood dependent

My biggest problem is always food related to mood. I find it easy to resist foods in the house when I am feeling focused, busy and happy. I say resist I don't really think about it. If I hit a low, feel lonely, bored or stressed then I will eat what is available and my head/brain will seek out and ...

LOVE the little calendars with the plan marked out! How did you do that? It does help a LOT that the holidays correspond to S-days this year. I do have at least one Friday-party, but that's all I can think of that would be an extra. Hi. If you click quote on one of the posts with a calendar, then d...

Hi. I am 2 months in now and I can reassure you that hunger is definitely decreasing over time. At first it was really hard but your body soon adjusts. I find a glass of milk, or a cup of tea really helps. Try warm milk at night to help you relax and go to sleep. Hang on in there, it will get better...

I wonder if it would help to have an 'end' to your eating for the day. A very strong mint, some chewing gum, or a glass of milk. Even brush your teeth. Just something to psychologically mark that it is time to have a break from eating and you will start again in the morning. Also, I still think abou...
