Ist week

Thank you Merry. It's been a most informative week. I realised this morning that doing exercise first thing in the morning is not possible for me because it takes me awhile to uncreak myself (arthritis). I did know this before but now I have accepted it. I reckon No S is helping me accept other ways...

Well 3 fails and two successful days plus two S days. My past behaviour when I have 'failed', is to justify the failures and then give up on whatever energy management programme I am currently on. Whether that be intuitive eating/lowcarb/calorie counting/mindful eating/zen of eating etc. This usuall...

Juda's daily check in

Mnnn? This is day 6. Days 1 and 2 were S days. Today I succumbed to rye bread and cheese mid afternoon. It doesn't feel like a failure more like being side tracked by inactivity. My biggest challenge has been that whenever I commit to a new eating plan I become so preoccupied with food that within 3...

Flunked my first N day!!

You'd think given the enthusissm I have for No S Day 1 would be a breeze. No! It was not! Your belly thinks your throat is cut when it doesn't get what it is used. Ahhh but I have taken a big lesson from failing on day 1. Incorporate what is technically a sweet and a snack into the 1 plate 1 meal co...

What constitutes a meal on N days?

Thanks one and all. Well I failed my first night but what a valuable lesson came out of it. Finishing a meal with something sweet plus some cheese puts a line under my eating for the night. So adjust my plate components to include these things. By sweet I mean some ricotta cheese, berries and stevia...

What constitutes a meal on N days?

Does everything have to fit on one plate? Or is a small bowl of miso soup, teriyaki chicken and rice and a piece of fruit for example considered a meal? On non S days, I mean. Is it a meal which can consist of several parts or is it a plate? Thankyou.

No S ...the start of a beautiful friendship

Hello Everyone This is day 2 and it happens to be an S day. Day 1 was an S day as well. Starting a new diet was always something for a Monday so I am hoping by starting on an S day I am working in my best interests. My thoughts on S days so far...there are not to be looked on as a smorgasbord. So my...
