I sort of do this. My habit is that I eat 3 meals a day all week. On weekends, I still eat three meals, but they might include a sweet. I might also have a snack on the weekend (not normally seconds). Usually I have 1 or 2 S-events each weekend day. That has helped me bring my blood sugar down from ...

174.5 today. I decided to count yesterday as red because I had a sweet drink (sangria). I also did not stick to my meal plan. A friend invited me out last minute, and I could go, so I did. Dinner was: one cheesburger slider (small sandwich), fries, and green salad, with one glass of white wine. Then...

173.5 yesterday (forgot to weigh today)
I did a 20-min hand weight workout yesterday (a Youtube video), and today everything hurts. I ran 3.6 miles this morning with my friend and walked 1 mile. As I go through the day, I have felt more and more stiff.

Re: Does the obesssion with food go away with Nos?
For me, the answer is yes. I do get the feeling Reinhard describes in the book, that because certain decisions are already made, I can put eating on auto-pilot more. And this has helped me be more productive at work and home, because not every time is for eating.
