I managed a 1.2lb weight loss this week.
Aug alcohol free days was just Under 50% a last-minute family meal at mums and I had some wine with the roast. We were also away some of August and also did some socialising.

It's fantastic that the boards are more active. I am currently weighing daily as it keeps me on track. I think daily is fine as long as you know if you get an upward fluctuation it won't derail you. I would say do what works for you but might be worth discussing your reasons with your dietician. Jx

Great news re your metabolic markers, I recall you struggling in the past to improve blood sugars.
Do you think no alcohol may be contributing too?

Yes I do and use a thermometer I usually bring it to the boil. My thermometer has a spatula so I stir it whilst heating to prevent burning.

Home made yoghurt is so much better. I make greek yoghurt and kefir.
Must admit I do have a yoghurt maker but my brother who. lives in warmer climate makes it without a maker.

I can't believe it has been over a year since I posted here. I haven't been on for a while but did use to read posts. Nice to see more activity over the last few weeks. Re: Melderin's check in
Slight increase in weight this week. But morning blood sugars are improving so perhaps weight is just a blip. I haven't always managed the fasting I wanted or 2 meals a day but I have been good re low carb and no alcohol. Sunday was an exception but nothing over the top. Onwards and upwards. Good lu...

If it keeps you on track and it is only a small piece I don't think I would worry about dark chocolate daily.
It doesn't tend to set of sugar cravings in me so I have it when I fancy.

Thank you You are doing great, well done on the walking. So much easier in good weather. Think I'll try and fit one in today. I have got back into my 2 x 30 mins yoga sessions a week. Getting the 2 solid meals is a good thing to do. I managed without a snack yesterday. Probably because had a cooked ...

Hi I've lost track of days. I haven't had any alcohol, so really pleased with that. Stuck mostly to 2 meals a day and lo carb. I've had the odd snack as I have had some early meals due to going out early and knowing I would be too late back for my first meal otherwise. I am 2 pounds down on last Tue...

Well done avoiding the biscuits π I wasn't as moderate as I should have been but it was a lovely evening and I am staying off alcohol now for the rest of April! I started today with a cup of tea and milk so not a fasting day but will still stick to 2 meals. I don't think switching it about us a bad ...

Well done on your success I used to drink coffee and tea with milk and two sugars. It's surprising how you can change your tastes. I also only eat 80% or more dark chocolate when previously I hated it. I have managed to stick with it so far! Today is looking promising too. I am trying to cut alcohol...

I weaned myself on to black coffee but it has to be a good one for me to enjoy it. Can't do black tea though unless it is Turkish but not first thing. Cream would be better than milk. But the milk as you say if full fat will help. I only have full fat anything these days. What you need to do is avoi...

If you need 3 occasionally that's ok, listen to your body.
It's the snacks that kill weight loss in my opinion.
I am aiming for 2 today and no calories before my first meal.
Good luck

If it helps I lost well on 2 meals a day and found it very sustainable. I have for various reasons been eating more and putting on weight recently but intend getting back to the 2 meals.
