In addition to the parts about snacks, the article also says lunch and dinner typically include a starter of raw vegetables, and a salad. They are (or were) slim because they don't snack, eat small meals with lots of vegetables, eat higher quality food, eat slowly, and walk everywhere. It's basicall...

tthornell, I thought about your question and came up with a good answer for you. First I'll respond to some comments above. The No S Diet is about discipline, and wouldn't exist without it, because it takes discipline to create a habit in the first place. Most people don't have the discipline to do ...

2-4 hours after eating, your stomach is empty again. (source: http://www.madsci.org/posts/archives/ma ... .An.r.html

mimi, I don't want to hijack Bee's thread, but since I brought up the plate size, I will clarify. Reinhard leaves the plate size up to you, and he doesn't say how many meals per day. The plate size completely depends on what you have on the plate. If the plate is full of calorie-dense food, you coul...

Yes KCCC, I am also a fan of Michael Pollan. The "eat food, not too much, mostly plants" mantra fits right in with the No S concept.

If you would have given the full quote, I probably wouldn't have tried to simplify your advice. :) I should have thought to do it myself. I'm glad you brought it up.
