This is a really delicious and light soup that we love: Greek Lemon Soup Ingredients: 6 cups chicken broth 3/4 cup long grain rice, uncooked 3 egg yolks 1/4 cup lemon juice salt and pepper to taste Bring broth to a boil and add rice. Cover and reduce heat, allowing rice to simmer until tender, about...

I think the whole thing about cutting out saturated fats (besides the nutritional issue) is that, when you drastically reduce the amount of fat you eat, it can make your gallbladder do weird things and you can end up with serious gallstones or other issues. This seems to be especially true for women...

I am glad I read this thread and I am especially thankful for KCCC's comment that it took a YEAR to "get" S days..... because yesterday I had a bad S day. It wasn't bad because of what I ate -- it was bad because I was scared of being an idiot. Foodwise, it was great -- I basically had a normal N da...

I, too, have tried intuitive eating in the past, but I found that I did not want to relagate food to just survival. I don't want to be an emotional eater, but I don't want to totally confine food to just sustenance either. Also, I need a bit more structure (wish it weren't so, but it's true). No-S ...

OK, Blueskighs and No S Dieter have inspired me to start my own NoS blog as well. I think it will help me stay on track. (Plus, it's kind of fun!) Please feel free to stop by and comment on what you find there: http://anothernosblog.blogspot.com I also took the opportunity to post my weight loss aut...

Normally I just walk a few days a week when I can get myself outside early enough in the morning -- but that generally doesn't happen with any regularity. Yesterday we finally tracked down a Wii Fit, and I have high hopes for it. It seems to be the exercise equivalent of NoS -- something that will g...

KCCC, I think you are exactly right with your observations about the interface between WW and NoS -- I lost a significant amount of weight on WW, and I was most successful when I did all the things you mentioned: use points for good, solid, healthy meals, not snacks; eating real food instead of fake...
