Anne, I started keeping a record of what I ate as kind of a documentation on the NO S diet. I purposefully didn't/don't record food volumes as the point is not to calculate what I eat. Sometimes people get on the boards and ask ... what do people eat? It is helpful to be able to send them to the Dai...

Hey everyone, just want to say thank you for your postive support and feedback. IT is hugely helpful! I do want to make a point that when I started on the NO S Diet I was uncertain as to whether I could "follow" the diet but I chose to proceed anyway :D I also decided to blog about my own personal j...

May I just suggest that you consider if you think you would want to live eating 2 meals a day for your whole life? Debs, Actually, that is PRECISELY what I am considering ... the actuality of eating three meals a day and just grabbing a handful of carrots to be "legalistic" doesn't feel honest, tru...

KCCC, when you are having these long days in "obesogenic" environments are you getting any breaks? There is studies that we operate on natural 90 minute cycles and then we need a break. Unfortunately it is not usually possible to take a break every 90 minutes but sometimes one break can do wonders ....

I am planning a fairly "indulgent" December. I took the 1st as NWS day as the tail-end of our Thanksgiving vacation since my husband was off, and I am taking Christmas Eve Day, Christmas Day, and New Years Eve day. That seems to work for me. Some months my NWS days are sparse but I load up on them w...

Reinhard, thank you for your support, I do agree. THere is definitely danger and need to be careful ... at the same time, there is a possibility that this will work for me, since I tend to drift to two meals a day on S days it would make me more consistent across the board, but that is why I am givi...

Resting, that is so funny! 11 and 4, my ideal meal times in an ideal world! I push back just a little to eat my second meal with my husband, about 5-ish! :D I lived with my grandmother one summer and she ate dinner everyday at 5 like clockwork. At first I thought it was weird but I adjusted very qui...

Since I had to be very careful about activity this past month, my appetite has dwindled too, and I've been having just two meals a day, too. It feels fine, I feel fine and you always know that if you do get hungry, you can have a third meal, so, why not?. Very well put Mavilu, and thank you for you...

KCCC, I can relate to your stock story, I have definitely had days like that in the kitchen and they are the least to say, discouraging.
