5 days down, 6 lbs gone. :)

YIPPEEE!!! And it was basically painless. Friday and Saturdays are my days off so they are the days I will relax on the eating. Today I found I stuck to it all day effortlessly again, but went out to dinner for date night with hub and had a wonderful time. Strawberry margarita, a little bit of chips...

Pam... I'm sitting here cracking up laughing. I thought I was the only one in the world who often did two different diets in one day. Nice to know I'm not alone. :)

I have between 60-85 lbs to lose depending on how low my body will allow me to go. I'll be 50 in June and I'm in perimenopausal and I have PCOS. Weight loss is hard for me. But finally I'm okay with that. Three years ago my doctor gave me a goal to lose 10 lbs from June to December and relax during ...

Hi camburger -- I expereienced it too, but it was the first week. But from reading a lot of weight loss boards I realized that for some people this is not uncommon. It usually is either dehydration or too much acid in your stomach and you need an acid reducer.

A concotion from childhood that I hadn't had in years. Was GREAT. You take one pound hamburger meat and brown it with one diced onion, salt pepper, garlic powder. Brown that up, dump in two cans of cream of mushroom soup, let that simmer for about 20 mins to make sure all the flavors blend, then at ...

Just finished my day and it was a success. Got the book and it was very interesting. Read it pretty much in one setting. Supper really reflected the changes for me. B: Orange and handful of popcorn. See post above. L: Hamburger and a few FF (I think I'm finally done with HBs for awhile) :) D: Lettuc...

Ended up having an orange and a handful of popcorn last night before going back to bed. I truly was hungry. I decided to do like a lady I worked with who was thin. She always *paid* for stuff. So in the spirit of that, I counted my orange and popcorn as my breakfast this a.m. Feel great too. No prob...

Spoke too soon. Woke up at midnight starving and had an orange. I am not going to let this derail me. I realize one of the mistakes I made yesterday was that I had not had one peice of fruit. By night's end I was starving to death for something sweet. Just after 3 days I realize that I do best when ...

Detox

I was going to put this in my journal but decided to post it out here, too. When looking over what I had eaten for the last few days I realized I had eaten hamburgers and FF (appropriately sized) for the last 3 meals. I kind of freaked at first. But then I started thinking and realized something. An...

Day #3 went terrific. I'm amazed at how easily this is going. Do I feel hunger sometimes? Yes! But looking at the clock and telling myself to hold off and I can have a nice dinner or lunch does the trick for me. My exercise and other things have gone well to because I am having so much less mental s...

It is amazing to me how we all feel the same way. Like a HUGE burden has been lifted and feeling in control again.

If Reinard (is that how you spell it?) ever has a NOSer reunion, women all over the country will be worshiping at his feet. LOL

My gosh Cornelia, we must be long lost sisters. I got so bad one day at the grocery store I couldn't remember what diet I was on. I didn't remember if I needed full fat creamer or fat free milk for my coffee. That is the honest to goodness truth. I tried diets, put them away, pulled out an old book ...

I am so glad other people can relate. You know I would watch friends of mine with no weight problem when we would go out to eat and wonder how they could order chicken fried steak and me grilled chicken breast and steamed veggies and they were thin and I wasn't. I understand now. They intuitively at...

Almost spiritual

Okay guys, I know you might think I am crazy, but I am betting that at least the binge eaters can understand. This is almost spiritual to me. I have hated myself.... not my body believe it or not.... but my weak mind and lack of self control. I beat myself up constantly for not being able to stick t...

LauraAnn's check-in

Well, day #1 down and it was a success. I felt starved for dinner. Something I hadn't felt in so long. At first I panicked when I felt hunger and dinner was two hours away. Was that my stomach growling? At first I didn't know what it was. Then I got busy doing other things, eventually fixing ...

I'm in love

With this new way of eating!!! I only read about it yesterday afternoon and started immediately at dinnertime. Can you believe that? Nothing special to buy. Just normal food, normal portions, one plate. I feel so liberated I cannot believe it. I feel full of hope. I have over 75-100 lbs to lose and ...
