Americans pay a less percentage of their income for food than any other nation. I think it currently is less than 10% where in some parts of the world it is over 50%.

Thomer, excellent!!!

I had to take an N day yesterday so I have to start over on my second 21 days, but that doesn't bother me, I am ready to go for another 21 days. Soon we can both post that wonderful feat.

Happy Holidays!

Debs,

I am a big fan of Leslie Sansone Walking videos, too. Indoor walking is the one exercise I keep coming back to time after time. I have been walking with Leslie for years.

KCCC,

I am with you on doing a 21 day Special Holiday challenge. I have already planned meals that I will enjoy. Looking forward to a satisfying and tasty meal is how I now nurture myself. This is much better than stuffing any kind of food I can find during the day as a bad form of self-nurturing.

Starflower, I am not sure today was a failure. If it is okay to put a teaspoon of sugar in coffee and still be No S I don't see that a bit of maple syrup in your yogurt would be a reason to call the day a failure. I am 52 and I like No S because I don't have to eat just chicken and broccoli. Actuall...

Marie - Walking with Leslie is the only exercise I have kept coming back to over and over so there must be something good there. =) You modify it anyway that works for you. That is the great part of walking with her dvds.

Mrs. P,

As long as the chips will fit on the plate then you are okay. I have only been following No S for 5 weeks but I figure that if it can fit on plate I can eat it as long as the food is not a sweet.
