Thank you so much for posting this article! I've struggled for many years with binge eating & it is often discouraged by the non-dieting self help books to not eat when you are hungry. I've seen so many people here on this board overcome their binge eating using the No S lifestyle, so it's nice to s...

Yesterday marked one full week of being back on NoS (yes, again!). Why I ever strayed I'll never know, but hoping this finally marks the beginning of forever. Had one red day & I was bedridden sick, so I'll forgive myself. Down 2.2. Only 39 more to go - LOL  Was also going to start tracking my ...

Hi everyone! It's me, Gina. Back AGAIN after going off course. I've never been perfect on No S. By that, I mean that I usually slip a few times a week & have something sweet with my dinner. Anyone Using Bento Boxes for Lunch?
I've been looking into getting a bento box for carrying my lunch to work. It would help save on waste (less plastic baggies), be less bulky, and it would help me add more variety to my meal. Is anyone else using them? How do you like it? Also, I found this site for meal ideas: http://www.laptoplunch...

Thanks! I did enjoy my S days this weekend, but I'm ready to go back to 'normal'. Of course I weighed myself this morning and was only down a 1/2 pound, but at that rate I would lose 8 pounds by my birthday and that's not too shabby. And by the time I turn 40 next year I should have it all off and b...

Can't believe I did it!
Here it is Friday night and I made it all work week with only one snack, no seconds, and absolutely no sweets. I never, ever would have thought that I could do that and not be absolutely ready to go jump off a bridge. I really thought that I HAD to have chocolate every day or die. I'm just so amazed...

Hi Cassie, Welcome. I'm just started this week too. Wish I had the new baby excuse for my extra weight, but my kids are 11 and 13! It's sweets and snacking that did me in. I truly believe that small amounts of excercise done consistently is the key. I work out 15-20 minutes most days (even on the we...

Nichole, You know it really bugs me both ways: when people push food, and when they tell you that you shouldn't eat something because they assume you need the diet advice. Cake pushers can be pretty bad. I think it makes them feel better to see you eating it too. And most of the time the cake doesn'...

Welcome Cornfed. I'm new here too. This is my first week on No S though. Your spreadsheet sounds great. It's nice to be able to look back and know if a failure was due to being sick or having some emergency pop up as opposed to just plain cheating. Amelie- ditto on the $$$ wasted. I think I could bu...

Thanks LA Loser for reposting. I had read about H2Orange but it's nice to get the actual 'recipe' with the proportions. I was going to hold off on trying the nuts (I like them WAY too much). I am going to switch to whole milk and try the H2Orange or Special K protein mix. Both are fat free and relat...

Hi Marcia, I'm pleasantly surprised to go through old posts and see other Intuitive Eating fans on here. I totally believe in their concept, but was unable to stay withing the guidelines. I would start off my day eating whatever I wanted when I was phsyically hungry, but by mid-day hunger I would ea...

Thanks everyone for the hunger-busting ideas. Good luck to you, too, Caroleann. I was actually wondering about the Special K water. I might go pick some up later today. My day is very long and busy too, so I am going to plan on an evening cup of whole milk. That way I can pace out my eating better t...

Thanks for the welcome. SAD. I like that. Especially considering how miserable I was every evening trying to map out what I was going to eat the next day. Thanks, too, for the suggestion of drinking milk or juice. I will keep that in mind in case I get really hungry again this evening. I have ordere...

Hi - new here.
Hi everyone, Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Gina and I just started this weekend. I thought it would be best to ease myself into this on S days. My background: I'm 5'1" and 150 lbs. I'm at my best when I stay under 130. A few years back I lost it ALL on WW's. Even became a Lifetime memb...
