I've got to agree with Kodama here. It's not necessarily a good metric for evaluating individuals. But it is a great metric for evaluating populations.
I live in one of the 3 worst states that are red on that map. Let me assure you that people are not getting shorter.

Well, I don't usually have problems with eating so much that I feel bad. So, that's not a huge issue for me. My main issue, from a behavior modification point of view, is the feeling of going "cold turkey" every Monday. When I first began the diet months ago, this was not a problem, because I like m...

quantizing esses on S days
Having a discrete number of esses on S days is something that I would like to do. But I lack the inclination to do it. As a result, I permasnack on S days. My question is, if I start limiting my esses on S days, will that make overall diet compliance easier or harder. What has been the experience of...

I too have been committing the sin of non-glove. So far, no problems as a result. I also shug on carpet. However, I definitely intend on adding a wrap in the near future. I think the longer I do the workout the more important the covering will become. Which seems counter-intuitive. My logic is that ...

Yes, it was a striking commercial that I remember from my childhood. Designed to mesh with the Olympics, with a dash of Soviet symbolism. Funny now, if this commercial didn't exist and you asked me if it was possible to successfully combine Baywatch slow-mo with an Orwellian theme. I would have thou...

Regarding the adjustable sledges -- I think it's a cool idea, but please be VERY careful. To my mind, a new, simple sledge is a very cheap insurance policy insurance against a weight suddenly flying off. Agreed, any DIY project is only for those aware of the risks. That being said, some risk is wor...

My lower back is a bit sore today. Any seasoned warmup/stretching suggestions for pre-shugging.
Just generic toe touches? Sitting or standing toe touches?
I might also try some hindu pushups. Perhaps a back bridge of some sort, but there are so many options.

Just wondering if I'm the only person that has ever experienced this. Please note that this has not happened to me since I've been on the diet, but it might be applicable to S-days anyhow. Just curious,
They are sand filled, so I wonder if that would have any noticeable affect on acceleration/deceleration profile. A quick web search found that there are some available with long handles.
