Re: Finally Committing to No S
Soprano, Teammoney, & Automatedeating - Thanks for your condolences and shared sentiments on my love of animals! We truly treasure our furry and feathered friends, so losing one was quite horrible for me over the holiday. I'm feeling better about it now, but it's hard to peer into the cage and be re...

Super delicious meals on Monday absolutely seems like the way to go! I took a page from your book and had quite a decadent dinner last night. I'm suffering a bit from it today lol, but it certainly made the transition from the weekend into the work week a whole lot more appealing. :D Hope yours was ...

I think that's a great idea to not weigh daily, Alene. I've found for me, it's better to do it once a week. That way, the random fluctuations won't discourage me. I'm sure if you take several days between your weigh ins, you'll find that you're trending downwards overall! You're doing so great.

Re: automated eating tracker
Some doctors can really be a pain about this sort of thing. I ran into this as well when I initially began to taper off my anti-inflammatory meds and looked towards natural ways of managing my Crohn's. My PCP at the time was staunchly against me pursuing anything holistic. It's shocking at times how...

Good job on resisting those temptations. It can definitely be a struggle, but I've already found that some of my former habits are beginning to nag me less as I continue to move forward with No S. I think it'll become easier for all of us. And yes, the accountability here is terrific.

Alene - Thanks for the kind words! As weird as it sounds, those after-lunch hard candies have been the biggest thorn in my side. I would just snack on them all afternoon, and before I knew it a small baggy would be gone! One or two probably wouldn't be the end of the world, but it would constantly b...

Good job on no alcohol! I really do love my wine, so it'd be hard for me to not have at least a glass or two 2-3 times a week. LOL, I'm not sure what that says about me.

Alene, I can really relate to your sentiments about friendship. As a result of us having a fairly transient lifestyle, it'...

I don't know if I've ever tried yogurt with peanut butter before! How do you prepare this? Do you melt the peanut butter first and drizzle it into the yogurt? :O My mind is blown by this combination! Sounds delicious, though. Do you find it very filling?

I've read through your threads in the past, so I'm happy to see you're still active. :) I also follow a fasting regimen, but not for weight loss (moreso inflammation management and benefits of autophagy). Congrats on the extra running! Sounds like quite a lot of wins for the day. And yes, scales being fickle drives me nuts, too. Ladybird, that is SO impressive that you've maintained a stable weight for so long. It's always nice to be at our lowest, ideal weight... but there's something to be said for not allowing yourself to spiral back up to a more dreaded number! Kudos to you.

Finally Committing to No S
Hi, all. I'm hoping to use this thread as a way of documenting my journey with No S and tracking my progress.
