Re: Linda's daily check-in
Hi, Linda! Happy 22 year Anniversary! My husband and I will celebrate our 22 year anniversary in January! I just decided to re-commit to No S, too. It is such a sane way to eat, and it’s something I can commit to long term (vs. some of the other ways of eating that are out there). I’m really glad yo...

Like a few other posters have said, i’m working on having 3-4 plates a day (depending on the day) with no snacking. At this point, i’m not restricting what goes on my plate, as long as I stick with the one plate. I’m allowing myself a little bit of sweets each day, as long as it fits on my pla...

The past several days have gone well, in terms of not overeating at night. That is still my top priority. I also still want to work on building up to a 16:8 eating window, because I’m convinced of the benefits of fasting. The only 2 days a week i’m not sure about yet are my band days, Monday and...

Yesterday (Monday) was a fail, but it ended up being a good lesson for me. I ate dinner in the 5 PM hour, which was too close to my band rehearsal, and I ended up with terrible reflux during rehearsal. I also was hungry after Band, so I ended up eating late yesterday night. I think what I might do o...

Oolala, I like the pumpkin cream pies much better, too! Well, yesterday ended up being more challenging. My kids didn't have school, and I took my younger son out for awhile, which means I didn't get lunch until late, which then threw off my dinner, etc... I'm close to finishing the book that Linda ...

I can relate, with the heartburn.😞 Some of my triggers are coffee (but I'm not ready to give up coffee yet), cooked tomatoes, overly large and fatty meals, citrus (especially orange juice), and eating too close to when I exercise. I try to limit the foods I listed, but I haven't changed my diet y...

I'm back again! I fell into a pattern of overeating at night again, and it didn't get me anywhere, except I've had increased heartburn, and I haven't lost any weight (although thankfully, I've been active enough that I haven't gained any weight, either). Today is Day 3 of recommitting to No S. Day 1...
