Ahh ..yes... Wednesday! Another raining day in paradise. I decided to tackle indoor projects.. (I would have looked pretty silly washing windows or weeding in the downpour we experienced)  I was not a happy camper. Didn't want to hit the grocery store so made a 3 bean chili for t...

I bought a "walking" DVD" last week and it is still encased in plastic setting on the coffee table.. so I see it ev...

OMG..I remember you and I talking pedometers a looong while back when I was trying to find one that worked and I didn't either forget to remove before clothes went into laundry or I "popped off" as I moved around! I think good pedometers and accurate scales are elusive items! I am missing fresh stra...

AAhhh...the dinner hour! I find I eat less when the table is set and free of anything but the food (no stacks of unread magazines..unread mail..etc. that manage to find their way to the dining room table.) I have the Tv off and soothing music on. That is all great, but it is not my hubby's idea of t...

"food" for thought
One of my friends, age 70, decided several years ago to turn her life around and "eat healthier". (She had had a cancer scare with a "spot" on her lung[she was a nonsmoker]). For her, that meant following all the latest trends to the extreme: she cut out meats and dairy(except a daily yogurt) and tu...

Food for thought from Who & Sue ..luckily no calories involved! How true..we do need to make meals a priority in this country! Prom was Friday in our town.
