Mar 26: Green. Did some gardening and am very happy. The soil is very wet and heavy, but I could cultivate the soil by hand, and my arms didn't fall off! Thanks to shovelglove! Mar 27: Green. Didn't eat very much. Mar 27: Yellow. DH borrowed a car, so we went shopping for garden things. Walking thro...

question about sledgehammer
Yesterday DH found an old sledgehammer in a field and took it home for me. The shaft is broken, so it's only as long as a hand held axe. My question is, can I use this to shovelglove? I thought I'd wrap the broken handle with tape so I don't get splinters. Will it be harmful to shovel with so short ...

Mar 23 and 24: Still a little shaky and weak. Appetite is strange. Starting to feel hungry, but when I start to eat I get full on not very much. I think my stomache sac has shrunk. I see no need to stretch it out again. Today: Green. Although it's still afternoon here, I'm posting now. I ranged with...

It certainly can't hurt. The last few years I've read and heard a lot about how getting 30 mins. a day of excersize can be done in spurts throughout the day is just as effective as all at once. It should at least help to clear your mind and get some oxygen to your brain. If nothing else, your work w...

gemma52, hang in there! Walls are for climbing or knocking down. Try using housework for excersize. You'll see instant results in your home-kind of gratifies the instant gratification needs. It's great excersize. Throw your scales in the closet and use a tape measure instead. If you have a red day, ...

Congratulations on your maintence! Your posts are always an inspiration to me and I need all the help I can get! I do have a question for you. I've been under the weather for the past 8 days. No appetite-living on O.J and H2Orange. Fever and the whole 9 yards. Crawled on the scale this morning and a...

I also learned to use a timer with FlyLady. I'm still fluttering though. It really is amazing how much one can get done in 15 minutes! I try to combine FlyLady with No S. I set my timer for 15 minutes and trot to each room. I call it home ranging. I get a lot of excersize this way. I hate excersize!

Mar 13: Green Mar 14: Green. Went to General Assembly at the Allotment Garden Society and it dragged out. There's never food served, only drinks. By the time it was over, I was too tired to even think about eating. I did keep my fluid balance up though! Mar 15: Took my S day, but again didn't have t...

Mar 11: Green. It's getting harder and harder to stay green. I do it though. Mar 12: Green by a hanging hair. These days I'm just constantly hungry. It's like I just can't get full. Must be spring fever. I'm scared to death to even get near a scale. My clothes are feeling a little looser, but it cou...

Apparantly everyone is too busy ranging to post about it. That's fantastic, I wish it were me! I'm doing everything I can to get up to...
