Today she has a guest post from someone in France, talking about their school lunches, and I find the difference amazing! Here's the link It even has a calendar of lunches ...

Since there's a plethora of citrus fruit for cheap right now at my grocery store, I've been squeezing it, mixing it with sparkling water and a teensy bit of sugar to make my own delicious soda, much better than Pepsi or anything else. Do you have the habits down? Are you having a lot of red days? If so, continue to focus on forming the habits. Trying to mess with it so you lose more before it's a habit is just asking for disaster. If you do, try looking at the composition of your meals - some people have mentioned they try and fi...

WOW!!! I just read all your posts and you are AWESOME!!!! The fact that NoS is habit, an S day is just another day, and you can easily survive off 2 meals a day makes you my SHERO... Not to mention you're one of so few women who accept themselves the way they are. I've been a member at many gyms of...

I'm at my parents' and grandparents' house and this morning my Grandma said I looked a lot slimmer, though according to her scale I'm still 160 XD My stomach does feel a bit more muscle, bit less fat, and I know my thighs are slowly getting there. Just need to do more exercise on my non-Aikido days ...

No, I haven't been keeping track. However I have been following No S with no problems. But that's not why I'm posting today. Today I want to note down some things I've been thinking about, namely, body type. I recently started sewing on commission for people in my area and cosplay community (Wikiped...

Personally, I almost never use salt in my cooking. I've had a sensitivity to salt for 3-4 years and it tastes just fine to me without it. My parents do notice when I leave it out if I'm cooking at their house though -It will take her a while to get used to it -Use herbs and other spices to add inter...

Not exactly weight loss related, but body image - "I'm not here to decorate your world" Basically, if you're happy with who you are and how you look, who cares what others think. Well, I applied the rules rather loosely this past week, to see when I should be eating and how much. Thinking of doing two smaller lunches on Mon/Wed/Fri because I'm always really hungry after Aikido and my first class of the day, but if I eat my full lunch then, I'll feel icky because it's too ear...

Haha thanks! And Eileen, that's the first time I've ever heard that - I'm 18 and regularly get mistaken for mid 20's, and being my mother's sister. Must be the schoolgirl cosplay XD But yeah > BMI is not always a good indicator. I don't know about body fat percentages, since I've never been measured...

The only numbers I'm paying attention to are my waist, bust and hip size - and that's because I sew my own clothing and costumes, so I need to be aware of those sizes. I find keeping track of my weight or BMI just tends to weird me out, since my BMI says I'm obese or nearly obese... I know I need to...

I have hypothyroidism and believe me ~ It does not cause lack of appetite! That's my entire problem. If it did, I wouldn't be here. I'd give it a while and if you have a bunch to loose, I'd count it a blessing!!! Sometimes one meal a day is enough. Good to know. I may be thinking of the othe...

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. I've had it happen when I'm not doing anything like in the summer, but when school starts, I am usually very on schedule with my meals. It's very uncharacteristic for me. This morning I almost gagged half way through my cream of wheat, and it's just a tiny little bowl...

Loss of Appetite?
I've been really not wanting to eat much in the last week... whereas usually if I don't eat breakfast, by the time lunch hits my stomach is growling so loudly I swear my professors should hear it, lately I've been skipping breakfast, or lunch, or dinner without noticing. Sometimes two of the above -...

I was that sort of little girl, and I'd have been fine if my teachers/bus driver (it was usually the bus driver with me...) said "I'm saving it". I understood that sort of thing - it means you want to wait until you can really savour the deliciousness, rather than just scarfing it down out of habit ...

If you're having soup and then, say, a pasta meal, that sounds like too much food to me. But for me soup usually is the meal, accompanied by maybe a slice of bread, which if I'm being nitpicky can go on a plate underneath the soup bowl. Remember though, No-S is about what works for you. Reinhard rei...

I actually discovered No-S through the bento and Japanese cooking in general website/forum Just Bento/Just Hungry.
I love it, though in the winter I'm more inclined towards soup and hot pasta in my thermal jar than the more traditional bento box format.
