Re: Imogen's Daily Check In
Food poisoning derailed my efforts to stick to any routine this week. I am still recovering, so my eating is all over the place - mostly nibbling on buttered rolls and bananas. Looking forward to getting back to the three meals structure.

Ellis, NoS is definitely great in terms of eliminating food noise. It allows me to focus on something else than dieting and watching my food intake seemingly every minute of every day. I'm struggling with silent reflux, so I feel your pain. With health issues that need to be managed by diet, we are forced to add another layer of restriction, and that's so tough *hugs*. Keeping my fingers crossed for you as you're trying to find what works for you long-term.

Fellow reflux sufferer here. May I ask, how do you manage eating three square meals with it? I know that we're told to eat more frequent but smaller meals, but it seems to me that it's not always true, and taking a break from digesting food may be beneficial for some individuals. Congratulations on your anniversary! I too would love to read your insights regarding the phases of NoS. Your comment on the Thigh&Hip Diet reminded me of A Bit of Fry and Laurie… I think they made a joke about it in one of their skits. Now I have to dig it up or else it will haunt me for the rest...

Whew, I think I spoke too soon! I'm absolutely exhausted after this week, and I struggled A LOT to stay on track. I had extra nibbles when seasoning food, plus my dinner plates were really full. Combined with the extra S-day, no wonder why my weight stayed the same at 57.1 this Saturday. Food-wise, ...

Alene, I adore Leslie Sasone and her workouts. 2-mile walk every day for about 2 years made me the slimmest I'd ever been. Sadly, I no longer work out on a regular basis, but whenever I do, I always choose Leslie's videos. They are so easy to follow, and I love the fact that she exercises with peopl...

So you don't use electronics before 2 PM unless you have a legitimate reason to do so? Did I get that right? Sounds like you have a lot on your plate right now. I can only offer sympathy - as in Eschano's case, I'm at totally different parenting phase and those kinds of challenges are still (way?) ahead of me. Still, Creator9's anxiety really struck a chord with me. I have similar kinds of panic attacks wh...

As bad as yesterday, and my husband reported that she had tried to escape once they got there. Eschano, I'm pretty much sure that calorie counting at this point doesn't make sense in my case. I can be accurate, but I never stay within my self-imposed limits, so why bother if it doesn't work? S-days can be both a blessing and a curse. I do believe they get tamer with time, as you get used to having a healthy appetite between meals and don't want to miss the fun and pleasure of eating in response to hunger. One thing that I discovered after several years of NoSing is that: if you don't re...
