Day 7 - Monday
I've eaten more fruit and veg today than usual - it's just what I fancied. It's now 4pm and I'm pretty hungry. This is the point I'd usually be reaching for a junk food fix but I've decided to embrace my hunger and use it to motivate me to cook a really nice dinner. Oh bum - after all that, I ate a ...

Breakfast: fruit and fibre cereal with a banana mixed in, eaten comedically slowly (I'm training myself to stop bolting my food, a habit which I got into after having my first child 28 years ago and finding myself too busy to eat slowly) Lunch: ham and salad sandwich, packet crisps, cup-a-soup (the ...

You can use this to your advantage. Stop, forgive yourself (you're only human) and make a decision to try again tomorrow. If you throw in the towel you're reinforcing a sense of failure and defeat. If you move on with forgiveness you're doing the exact opposite. Be kind to yourself - you're the only...

I think I've got it this time
I've done No S before and joined this forum a few years ago originally, but previously never stuck to it long enough for it to become habit (despite my clothes feeling looser every time I tried). Anyway, with a beach holiday booked for 6 weeks time and weighing 3 stone (42lbs if you don't do stones)...

Day 5 (S Day)
An unbelievable 7lbs down since Tuesday! However, I think I'll stop the regular weighing in because obviously I cannot maintain this rapid loss and don't want to dishearten myself when the scales slow down (which is probably from now on). I think this massively illustrates how my weight gain is down...

Hello, new here
Just wanted to say hello. I'm new to No S, but had resolved to do something similar by myself. I decided (this weekend) that I was going to stop eating between meals, except for fruit. So I googled something like 'not eating between meals' and happened upon the No S Diet. Well, talk about a lightbul...
