Well idk, it beats sitting in traffic for hours, burning fossil fuel and getting angry with other, more aggressive drivers. But, perhaps not? Doesn't it sometimes seem that GETTING places is more than you want to have to do?We're all readers here on this thread (obviously).....no doubt we'd prefer cu...

I had a perfect NoSday, then screwed up -literally - in tthe 11th hour. It really does come down to habit for me. Th...

Good day today- ANOTHER broiling bike ride, but I needed to get moving and glad I did. Lasagna for Father'sDay!

Used today as a NoS Day since Friday (when I was feeling lousy) didn't go so great.

It is HOT here today - and likely to be all week, with no rain in sight.....sigh...Georgia.......

Read a second - even better - bookby Meg Wolitzer this weekend - "The Wife". Grammy, I think you would like this one a lot....about the wife of a world-renowned author and story of their marriage through late 50's-present. Captures the era, along with dawn of feminism movement. Wolitzer a fine write...

KCCC, that pattern sounds so familiar to me, and frankly you 'contained the damage' quite well I think. I do find late Friday nites difficult. I don't WANT to go to bed - I want some time alone with my book in my comfy chair and - of course -my comfy food. I too notice the rebelliousness I feel: "Wh...

You really are thinking deeply - and well - about all of this. It's amazing how complex all of this food-related stuff can be. But that awareness is a great thing, and if you're only sitting down to 3 meals a day, you have TIME to think about what you eat. I often wonder if I didn't set myself up to...
