Thanks. You've helped put things in perspective for me this morning. I was just annoyed because I am doing so well on the diet and the scale is acting up. Wasn't sure which weight was correct, but I'm just to cancel it out for today. Overall my weight is coming down and that's what I need to focus o...

How do you know if something is wrong with your scale?

Ok I weighed myself and it said 186.6 I get on only 5 min later and it says 187.4 a couple times and so I try again and 188 a few times. I didn't drink anything or eat anything in these few minutes, so why is it not saying the same? I usually get on a few times just to make sure I get the same numbe...

Way to go! I'm in week 2. It does get easier. If you haven't read the book yet, I recommend it. I'm doing a daily check in as well. It helps to make me accountable for what I'm eatting.

Today I'm hurting from the exercise I did. Maybe it's too much too soon for me. Gonna try some "Walk away the pounds" for a few days until I can build up more strength. My hips and back hurt from "The Biggest Losers" workout.

For me I went cold turkey. Just decided to start one morning and once I got through the first day, I knew I could do it. Had I did the gradual way I may of never given up snacking. But, that's what worked for me. Everyone if different.

I just tell myself one day at a time. I can only focus on what I will do today and that seems to help me. And also the next 6 months will pass whether we're doing anything or not, so why not do something about our weight. 5 pounds a week is awesome! The more you weigh, the faster you'll most likely ...

My son is 6 and he snacks all through the day. Anyhow, I just tell myself no. It's that simple. I know I can only have my 3 meals a day and I fix his snack and walk away after and go do something else and just wait for my next meal. And I know the weekend isn't too far away and focus on what I plan ...

Yep, I eat a salad nearly every single day for one of my meals. I use fat free cheese and I like bacon bits. Sometimes I'll throw in a lil baked chicken. I am picky when it comes to fruit and veggies, but enjoy plenty of the ones I do like, but make it part of my meals.

Today is day 11 for me. I've always been on the chubby side most of my 34 years and the last 6-7 years I've been about 50 pds overweight. The very first week on this plan, I knew it was the one for me. It's very different than any other diet I've tried and it's working and it's not that hard to do! ...

I usually can see it in my face and chin when I've lost weight and then the tummy area. Curious where do you all notice you've lost weight?

I love your idea of using fast food as S day! I am going to do the same because although I know we aren't supposed to be counting fat, I know fastfood is loaded. Most of it anyhow. The only thing I may allow myself on N days would be Wendy's Chili or some salad. We were all a big fast food eatters. ...
