First N day went well. First, it was really fun to just plan to eat whatever I wanted as long as it wasn't a sweet. That included pizza and macaroni and cheese, foods I haven't enjoyed in months. I eat out a lot, and for breakfast and lunch I definitely ordered more food than I needed; I figure I am...

Thanks for saying hi yesterday MM. Its nice to be welcomed. It's interesting what you said about writing down what you eat. That's not something I'd normally do and I'm not sure I want to start. I want think about food less, not more. On the other hand I think its good to be aware of what you're doi...

Hi tofu! Thanks for introducing yourself yesterday. I know this process will be easier if I'm in touch with others who are doing the same thing. I was happy to read through your thread and see that you haven't gained weight since starting on No S. And it sounds like you're enjoying the process. Its ...

Thanks for posting on my thread yesterday. It was nice to hear from some other newcomers on the site. I enjoyed reading through your check-ins, reading what you eat every day--it was helpful. I think I'm probably going to go through a similar process: focusing on forming the habits and needing to be...

How often should I weight myself?
I am just getting started on this. Any advice on how often I should weigh myself--I understand the loss will be slow, so I don't want to get discouraged. On the other hand, I feel like its important to sort of monitor the situation. Also, if you were going to weigh yourself, say, once a week, should...

Oh wow last night I went out to eat and ordered pasta with gargonzola cheese leeks bacon and tomatoes. I would never order that kind of thing normally but it was sooooo good and it was what I really wanted. For desert I had a decaf capuccino. I felt very happy and satisifed. Yesterday might have bee...

AnneK's check-in
I gained some weight recently (not sure why) and have been trying to lose that 15 pounds for the last six months. It won't budge! I eat very healthy--almost zero sweets, no sugar or flour, lots of fruits and veggies. I also run or lift weights every day. So I'm feeling very good and very healthy. Bu...
