I've also just started a new pill, and so far the result is that my weight nudged down a bit. Which, I think, is the result of general NoS-ing, rather than the pill. But I'm curious to see how it works out!

I'm going to piggy-back on this thread. I'm soooo bloomin' hungry right now, and it's 2.5-3 hours till dinner. I get hungry every N-day at about this time, but my real problem is when I have to work late, like today. If I can stop work at a normal time, I can distract myself with a book, a walk or s...

Thanks everyone for advice and encouragement. I've had my three slices, which took up only half a plate, and filled the rest of the plate with salad. And enjoyed the hell out of it. Could I have had more pizza and still followed the vanilla-NoS rules to the letter? Sure! But I was also trying to not...

Pizza Guilt

This is my second week on NoS, and so far it's going very smoothly. I've had a few very hungry afternoons (including one where, because of waiting for a guest whose flight was late, I got no dinner until 10pm), but I've found it pretty easy to distract myself until it was time to eat. All in all, I'...

It's only just hit me that it would be completely OK for me to take up baking. I've never baked, because it felt like something that would lead me to immediate, irrevocable weight gain. (Did not baking make me not obese? Ha! Too right it didn't!) A friend shared with me a recipe for chocolate browni...

I have a bit of a last bite panic at lunchtime. For various reasons I can't have lunch later than 1, or dinner earlier than about 8, and it feels like an enormous stretch of time coming up before I can eat again. I just try to remind myself that I did it before, and it was fine. I hope that in time ...

Thanks for cheering me on! I've enjoyed my S-days a great deal, but now it's time to buckle down for another 5 days of perfection. Or nearly. Well, good behaviour, anyway :)

Oh dear, sounds like you need a big hug. You wonder what the point is of eating well during the week. That's exactly the point: you eat well for five days. Would you have stuck to a good eating routine for the whole working week if you weren't working so hard on it? I doubt it. But you have, so well...

Summerwine's stunning progress

So I'm making my first steps on NoS, and finding my feet.

Today is an S-day. But I would still like to remind myself that it's not a "day off the diet", for which I should feel guilty, but an actual part of the regime. So I'm going to check-in anyway.

So, yes. S-day today.

This is my first lot of S-days, and I'm finding that the biggest treat is the freedom to snack, not what I'm snacking on. So far have enjoyed an out-of-mealtime tangerine, a can of pop, a packet of crisps and a finger of dark chocolate. Planning to have some toast and honey with my afternoon coffee ...

Hello there, I'm new. :) Just completing my first week of NoS. I'm finding NoS alarmingly easy so far. I get very hungry between meals (snacking is my chief demon), but drinks in-between have been sorting me out. I'm slightly scared of how easy it's been in the first week, because I can't help think...
