I second wosnos on the hunger thing. Sometimes I have been running and I am soooooo hungry I want to try eating pieces of car bumper! But maybe I have nothing with me, so I have to wait until I get home, then have a shower etc etc. I am still here! Actually I LOVE being hungry now. I used to snack a...

PS.....meals per day. After big runs, more than say 2 and a half hours, I do eat. I would eat the dog if he would stand still long enough! This makes 4meals. I have a light pre run meal, say, juice and a banana...carbs to fuel the run, and porridge or similar afterwards. And on mountain trail runs I...

I call it a shuffle. It was my first 'pace' for about 8months. I have a new pace today! They all have names. The 'soft shoe shuffle' is the first pace. It is a shuffle along and is about the speed of a good brisk walk. 'Trot' is the next pace. I was told years ago a good horse should be able to trot...

Popping back in with some encouragement

Hi there, I am an infrequent visitor but I have been following a no s lifestyle for several years now. I used to have a different name but I have no idea what it was. I came back as Ruff (my dog) this year. For newbies, yes it does work long term, but it helps( I think) if you add exercise and other...

The no-s news. After they had gone I was really tired and stressed. i had eaten early because they w...

Another runner here, training for my first half marathon in September! I run first thing and eat when i get back during the week. For longer runs these are normally at the weekend. I am very interested in this one. If you look at the data it would seem that exercising to lose weight is a lost cause, BUT if you look at successful long term dieters they all seem to exercise (apparently...data from the internet) My experience. I have lost 3 and a half stone. And I run. Lots. I ra...

Hi tobaismom, Ruff is just a pest! He will not leave me alone until we go for a walk! Today is Saturday, and hubby and I and Ruff ran for 1 hour 45 minutes, and then came back and ate pancakes with honey and bananas and cream! So I think that takes care of any calories I may have burned in the run! ...

This is what I think. I started dieting weight 12 stone 2 pounds (77kg, 169 pounds approx.) I know this because I have the little book they gave me. This was 6 months after my no 2 child (now 21) was born. I was still feeding. I gave up dieting in October 2011 weighting 16 and a half stone (or more....

Question. Tea with cream?

I have come here from low carbing/atkins.

This means i have developed a habit for drinking tea with cream (weak earl grey tea, no sugar)

Can i drink this between meals?

Thanks
