Today went a bit better, at least I passed the exams I had today. Tomorrow I have one more exam, and then I'm free and I just have to wait for the terrible news about the exam yesterday. Ah well, such is life. I went forwards today, not backwards and although I regret eating candy, at least I got ba...

Lets try again, sober this time: I lost 4lb this week, which I'm dead impressed with. 115lb now. It's verging on worrying, but I'm assuming it was because Auntie Flo was on visit last week, and that causes bloating, and I only lost 1lb next week. If it doesnt slow down next week (however happy I am,...

Hi Anne, great name (my middle name!). I just wanted to say that I think it's awesome that you're staying on the bandwagon even with all sorts of events. Thats the true test reallty, its so easy to make excuses and say "just this once". And congrats to your daughter for graduating high school, I rem...

Hi jools, thanks very much for your reply - its encouraging to realise I'm not the only one with this prob! I think I'm probably the same as you, I tend to drink sugar free fruit stuff mostly, but sometimes we get a lot of bottles of diet coke and I just start drinking.. its a personal battle more th...

Thanks gals, you're all so positive. I'm keeping myself calm and collected, so I breeze through them (at least that's the plan!). Thinking about buying myself an epilator as a reward for coping so far!! Well done for weening yourself off the soft drinks, I don't think I ever will fully! -- Everythin...

Weldone for just having the one of the nuts. I think not eating sugar most of the time makes you really appriciate it when you get it, and its very impressive you have such self restraint. But more to the point: Enjoy your vacation! I hope the weather is beautiful and the roads are empty! 8) Love Id...

Oh gosh, quorn! I used to live in the UK, and quorn is one of the few things I miss, those chicken pieces *drools* So good. The sharwoods spicy tikka masala gets my personal stamp of approval! Whenever I visit the UK (like I will in july), I drag back about 20 jars because all my friends here love i...

Thanks for your comment navin. It isnt so bad once you get used to it. It's a lot easier for me than I guess it is in the US, all roads where I live have cyclepaths (sort of raised lane next to sidewalk) and there are special bike lights and all, so that helps a lot. Problem with cycling so much is ...

Hi Ruth. Just wanted to say congrats on avoiding dessert, thats a huge problem for me, even when there aren't others eating it! And gosh you eat so healthily, you really have a proper balanced diet. As an aside, I think this plans great because it gives you the flexibility to eat out if you w...

Really works.
I've been following something very similar for a while now, and it really works. I've lost 31lb since feburary, and I wasn't even extremely overweight to start with! I've been losing around 2lb a week. My version was basically no sugar, no snacks, and s-days weren't sat/sun, only special occasions. ...
