eating ideas from a diet infomercial
So I was on a trip and the hotel television had absolutly nothing on but infomercials (and qvc type programs). One of the infomercials caught my attention for a weight loss product. Hey franxious, Great job on following no S so far. I empathise with you regarding getting discouraged. I've felt discouraged with non instant results before as well. But you've got the right attitude, this isn't something to think about in a get thin quick way. My advice is not to weight or measure ...

don't worry gilli, it's taken me quite a few new starts with noS, i think it get easier to folow each time. While other diet plans may work faster at first (i've tried many) you'll soon be sick of all the rules and regulations they force onto you. Keep trying and don't beat yourself up over mistakes...

I was curious and stepped onto the scale this morning, I've lost 2.5 lbs. A nice way to start the day. :) Like many people I've decided to start my S days on Friday after work, and stop them on sunday at dinner. Friday was a SUCCESS I had a second portion of some potato rostis my husband made. Sat a...

rxea, If you are really honestly ready to quit smoking (instead of just cutting down) I'd recommend a Prescription drug called Chantix (www.chantix.com). It's not a antidepressant or a nicotine replacement. What it does(basically) is block the receptors in your brain that crave the nicotine plus it ...

Planning on starting Shovelglove
I have the sledgehammer (i think it's either a 10 or 12 lb) I've read and watched the different moves. I am going to start a routine after I have completed my 21 day habit forming portion of NoS and Urban Ranger. I'd love some advice as to beginners moves and routines to try. I was hoping to start s...

I am a rabid diet soda drinker. Along with my rededication to noS this year I am attempting to cut out about 90% of my soda intake. Previously I'd have 6-8+ cans a day  And even more on the weekends. Drinking diet soda I'm not as concerned about the calories. However i'm sure that the chemical...

Non Sweet Esses
What are some of your non sweet Esses? Food that aren't based off sugar but you are trying to avoid eating. For me the big non sweet noS food is french fries. I LOVE french fries. If I don't make this food an S I could see myself on bad days counting them as an acceptable meal. I don't go to many fa...

So the new year marks a new start for my noS dedication. It was too difficult to start making good habits with so much junk shoved under my nose at every turn. The 1st was an exempt day 2nd = SUCCESS for both noS and Urban Ranger 3rd = SUCCESS for noS but FAIL for Urban Ranger I am going to hold off...

I basically should mark most days red since last I posted. Too much crap getting shoved under my nose and not enough willpower to say no. It was stressing me out to obstain from trying a cookie (or 3) whenever they were passed around. I am starting over come Jan. I am going to implement the Personal...

Monday and Tuesday were utter failures. I'm thinking this month was a bad idea to start a new eating plan. There are sweets at every turn at home and at the office. It doesn't help that I started my period on monday which usually leads to major sugar cravings. All I can do is take one days at a time...

Tuesday = Success although it's a tentative success since I had pop tarts for breakfast. Looking back those aren't the best choice, and they are packed with sugar. I think I will avoid them in the future. I was proud of myself for not eating any candy. I had bought a bunch of candy to make candy tra...
