Feeling better today. Thank you Linda, Auto and eschano for your support. I feel like a basket case too often...been struggling with this eating nonsense for most of my adult life. I just get so tired sometimes... Put up a pic of 4 of my babies, including the new big 'un in the middle (look at her p...

Hi, Heather! I too wish you all the best testing and results!!! I also think making tomorrow a S(ick) day makes perfect sense. Auto: I agree with you 100% with the late dinner/acid reflux connection. I already told Heather a few posts back that I did a little experiment last Sunday: I ate a huge pla...

Way to go, Linda, with the exercising! I am a big fan of daily sweating, though only AFTER it's done and over with. If you can focus on how you will feel post-suffering, you will be in semi-shape in no time (reading your self-described goal made a burst of diet Sprite squirt through my nose. Classic.)

Ugh! Fell flat on my face yesterday. Binged on whatever was in the house last night for no good reason (as if there ever is one). I feel like I am having a much harder time with No S this time around, starting to feel just like I did when I tried Intuitive Eating. I am toying with the idea of going ...

Hi, eschano! Believe it or not, I own all three Sisi movies on VHS (good grief, how old am I?) and always wanted a father like the one she had...sigh. As far as writing poetry, I did not know she did that! Sisi actually turned me on to Heinrich Heine, but I will now have to look up some of her own w...

Sheesh, Dandelion, I completely understand your frustration. I hope your doctor can find a cause...it really does sound thyroidy. BTW: I did NOT know that about the fat/estrogen connection. I mean I knew that fat stores estrogen, but did not know that the body tries to preserve estrogen by holding o...

Hi, eschano! Add me as an Anglophile, especially when it comes to 15th through 18th century British monarchy. Wolf Hall was great and Bring Up the Bodies fantastic! My mom and I are making our way through The White Queen TV series. I also just finished The Tudors by GJ Meyer which is a scathing indi...

Thanks, Auto and Linda: you two are wise beyond your years. Even though my Sunday was an N day, it wasn't exactly restrictive i.e. I didn't eat any kind of dessert foods, but my plates were full. Hi, Linda! We had mice a few years ago (though only Lord knows why with 7 dogs running around and no cooking going on in the kitchen). But I just couldn't bring myself to kill 'em. Now, although I am 5 pounds lighter than my highest weight at the start of that October, but also no less...
