Great on water. And very good on exercise as I mentioned in my last post.

I've also found marking the calendar to be bizarelly helpful. I say bizarelly because I can't see why it should matter that much, but somehow I really want to see that green check. Enough that it helps me stay on track.

No, S days are part of it and part of your 21 days. No matter where you start in 21 days you'll have 3 weekends and 3 weeks worth of N days. Reinhard always seems to say that sticking with the plan will help you build the habits.

I'd have to agree. No problem with the timing, but I would call even sugar-free pudding a sweet and only allow it on S days. The habit learning part of your brain won't be able to learn if you keep trying to trick it.

I'd say no, it's not a failure. You might need to do some virutal plating to make this work for you -- leaving room on your dinner plate for something like an apple later at night seems like a perfectly reasonable thing given the circumstances.

Day 14 - Sick. I'm at a point where eating anything at all is good. Today that's been going much better on that front. And mostly it's been a lot of fruit and 100% fruit juice.

I think tomorrow should be more normal, although techincally an S day anyway. Then Monday should be back to normal.

Drinking lots of juice and gatorade. Trying to eat some bits of whatever I can convince myself won't be too bad. Just not hungry, but calories are actually probably not too low from all the drinking. I haven't been paying any attention, though.

Class was hard tonight -- good to be pushed hard.

Day 5 - A definitely not idiotic S day. Had breakfast out with a friend and walked the mile or so to and from the restaurant even though it was pretty icky out. Felt good to do. Had a perfectly reasonable breakfast there, although with some maple syrup. Had a few more of the caramels this afternoon....

I think this is a really useful point. Thanks for making it KCCC. I think that's sort of been floating in my head and I've sort of been hovering around it, but not quite.

This will be the one S day rule I'll implement -- "have whatever you want, just be sure it's what you want."

Just make a decision to make your next meal a good one. And to not eat sweets or snacks between now and then. Don't think or worry beyond that point. Saying you can't get back on plan guarantees you can't so also just stop saying that. You can do it -- you know you can because you've done it before....
