I love the simplicity of this diet too. I don't always find it easy but it is very simple. and that counts for a lot.

Got my hour of Pilates in this evening - and a walk on Monday - so not doing too bad with some exercise. I've had 3 successful days in a row of No S. I find the evening a little challenging. If I wasn't on this diet, I certainly would be snacking. No dessert doesn't seem hard. And going for seconds ...

I got only one walk in Lovedby2. I walked for 30 min outside. It was so nice to get out in the fresh air. i also did an hour long pilates class.

Planning to do better this week!

I'm up for the walking. I did a Pilates class this evening and it felt very good after a big Easter eating weekend. Plus my grand-daughter's bday on Monday. I forgot to mention that I came home from the dinner and just had enough time to get into my exercise clothes for my Pilates class . . . I was on the little full side but i made it through :lol:

Exercising is a difficult one for me as well. I have a genetic heart problem that causes fatigue. But someone on the forum mentioned T-Tapp and I've been trying that. and when the snow melts around here (it's been a record winter for snow!), I'll join you with walking. Hope you have a great week!

Day 3 and questions

Another successful day. Exercised as well so feel very good about that. Today is my birthday - so I will be having dessert tonight with family :) Tomorrow evening girlfriends are taking me out - not sure if I will count that as a S day or not? Should I have dessert? Exchange a day from Sat or Sunday...

Hi Gingerpie Thanks for the warm welcome! My dh also had borderline high cholesterol. He cut out cream in his coffee and tea and also started eating oatmeal for breakfast everyday (He doesn't take milk on it) In 3 mos he dropped down to normal range. No meds. First check in - Day 2 - success. ate 3 plates. no snacks -no sweets. It's midnight - I'm a little hungry but that's ok. Looking forward to a good breakfast tomorrow morning.
