!

My idea is to clear a bit of time to sit down and enjoy your nice food--? I sometimes eat at my desk working, which is less than ideal. Maybe you can carry a plastic or paper plate and put everything on that.

I don't know how many bites I eat-- more than 15, I'm pretty sure!

Oolala, Rule 1, stop watching deflating German movies! Gosh! ANYBODY knows that! (Can you tell I'm teasing you?) I get the impression you are really smart. And I wonder if that can make it a little harder to find your tribe, because your tribe is clustered on one end of the bell curve. Not necessari...

Welcome! Looking forward to hearing about your first days! My first few days, I focused more on no snacks and no sweets and gave myself a little room with seconds, because I was worried about making it between meals. And sure enough, 10 am and 4 pm were really hard, because I was used to eating at t...

I'm so sorry to read about your worries regarding your 17 year old. Parenting little kids is an absolute cake walk compared to parenting teens. The stakes feel so much higher and the solutions more difficult to see. I hope your daughter connects with her strength and that you are able to worry less....

The brunch sounds delish and like a happy social thing. I'm so sorry about the sturm and drang with your friend. It sounds like you were straight with her about what was worrying you, and she did not handle the information at all well. Friendship is a gift and there is no point in exposing yourself ...

I find myself wanting to try Marmite! I wonder if I can get it at Wegman's. My daughter is coming home from England on Wednesday, I wonder if they would let her bring a jar through customs.... Planning to visit in June, I can just wait until then!

So a good weekend, maybe not what I consider ladylike S days, but not too messy. I did have this weird dream where I was definitely experiencing scale anxiety. The nature of No S is moderate, but there is no question I am trying hard and invested in the outcome, and I had this bad dream involving we...

This is why it's so easy for the metabolically thrifty to stay overweight. 300 extra calories a day (sooo easy to do) is 30 pounds.

On the other hand, it's encouraging too-- walk two miles, and consistently cut 100 calories--?
