Yeah, go for the bowl at WalMart. I love mine so much - it has lasted for years. I guess the only thing different from just using a bowl with a plate on top is that there are two tiny steam slits on the top of the lid (and the bowl is VERY sturdy.) I just use real sugar in my coffee - the few calories aren't a problem.

Have used the lowcal flavored creamers as well, then I don't need sugar.
