day 49 All's well. Sleep: 5.5 hours, so-so rested. For lunch contemplated treats, but ended up realizing was full anyway, and would feel bad if stuffed myself. So, regular lunch. The French record
"The True Story Of How McDonald's Conquered France": http://www.businessinsider.com/how-mcdonalds-conquered-france-2014-8?IR=T (in response to a post by Joasia). One take-home: France is the suburban Chicago-based chain's most profitable country outside the U.S. So much for the French halo of old. S...

About Linda's comment on undistracted eating
It's a book with you, Linda? At least something worthwhile... It's surfing that's my downfall... Give me a couch, a laptop and anything to keep my mouth stuffed and... I'm lost. And I have started and drifted off many times. And I have no idea whether this trend will hold. NoSurfing. Your encouragem...

day 36
day 36 All's well. Sleep: 6.5 hours? rested. No wake-up snack, not hungry. To do with large dinner? With relatively good sleep? Don't at all feel like cake when contemplate food. Not food-averse - savoury-inclined, rather. The thought of blowing a meal on cake and bread, my go-to treat, doesn't appe...

day 35
day 35 All's well. Sleep: 5 hours, so-so rested. Wake-up snack. Was ravenous. As usual, between the snack (?) and the morning workout, the hunger subsided, and I could have breakfast calmly. Hungry in the early afternoon, in spite of full square meal lunch. Figured had to with tiredness. Was easy to...

Story snacks - nettle, an exceptional wild green
Today, I made nettle for the first time. Nettle is often vaunted for its rich nutrients: http://www.livestrong.com/article/350785-stinging-nettles-nutrition/ . I'm sharing as it struck me by its taste, rather. I found it strongly flavorful in a pleasant way. In short, delish. Several ways to make it...

day 34
day 34 All's well. Sleep: 7 hours? rested. A fascinating morning. No wake-up snack, as didn't feel very hungry. And have been thinking that I could seek ways of not going overboard. During the morning workout, at the end felt less able to go through with it, a sort of weakness. To do with no snack? ...
