Week one done!! Great job. It gets easier from here on. I agree with the weekend assessment. I feel awful if I overdue but I still have been overdueing. Next week's assignment should I decide to accept it: make the weekends a little more sane.

Day 4

Success. This day was easier. Thanks for the reassurance, Kevin that 5:00 will get easier. That was still the roughest part of today. It is actually easier when I am working overtime because there is no food available unless I go to the lunchroom and use the machines. My cubicle is right next to the...

Day 3

Success! Good day. Qi Gong again. Relaxing and comforting. The worst time of the day for me is immediately after work. My husband works out after work and I used to read and have a snack. Really feel deprived. So today I did the Qi Gong again and then read. Better. Breakfast: cereal with 1/2 cup of ...

Day 2

Thanks for the welcome. It is reassuring to know this works. I tried it once before but I think I was overdoing the S days so I thought I'd keep track for a while to keep myself honest. Is it easier to go on the diet together? My husband is a very active guy who works out a lot and he doesn't really...

Day1

Success but harder than I thought it would be. It was a very frustrating day at work and I did a couple of hours of overtime. By the time I went home, I was really starving but I was proud of myself that I made it through the day. Breakfast: fried egg, toaster french toast slice and half a grapefrui...

Pangelsue's check in

Day 1 I have decided this is day one to log my progress No S-ing. I read quite of few logs over the weekend and it seems that logging helps people sort through it all and find a method that works for them. I am looking forward to Mondays as I always do. I think I am still very used to diets being ru...

trying again

Welcome. This is my first time on NOS but I have tried and bailed out on every other diet on the planet. I intend to do it this time because this time it feels different. I feel like the part of me that always creates an escape hatch is letting go. Good luck.

How Long..........

Thanks for the reality check. I love the diet. Now I know that I just need to take the focus off the daily expectation to lose. You are all an inspiration in patience. Fast doesn't last but I think this could. By the time it's all lost, it's a habit.

Newbie not losing! Help!

Thank you everybody for your thoughts and suggestions. They helped a lot. I have always sabotaged myself in the past probably because then I had an excuse to toss the current diet out. I like this one. I want it to work and maybe part of me is afraid it will. Had an ice cream bar and am looking forw...

Newbie not losing! Help!

Thanks for the commiseration. I have about 50 pounds to lose. I agree totally that the best thing that has happened so far is that for the first time in more years that I can remember, I am not in terrified awe of my ability to obsess about food and my next meal. It was nothing for me to snack right...

Newbie not losing! Help!

Being a newbie (3 weeks), I have been reading all of your wonderful and helpful information and learning a lot of information that keeps me going. I am really sticking to the N day routine and trying hard not to overdo too much on the S days. I do indulge on the S days because they make the structur...
