How often? Once every month or two, it probably doesn't matter a whole lot.

If it's weekly or every other week, I'd be a lot more strict.

Well, silver month for me--1 red day. 15 exercise days, but mostly just slow walking. I've not been in the mood to get back into working out, and really need to change that. Sometimes I'm such a slug, but my body needs more movement! I actually felt this was a pretty good month eating-wise, but I'm ...

I think weighing is a tricky thing that is highly individual. If after you weigh yourself you find yourself having a harder time following no s and bingeing more than I would say not to weigh yourself. I know when I don't weigh myself I find it hard at first and then feel very free and more able to...

I'm that way too! We've had klondike bars a few times lately, and I eat way less when I just have one of those rather than a "dish" of ice cream.

I'm also finally learning how to deal with my oldest daughter. I've discovered it pays to have a thick skin and not react to her little remarks. When I don't react her mood blows Over quickly and we can get on with things. Also, when I only get upset at the big stuff, it has more of an impact. Let'...

You get to decide :-). As MaggieMae said, you can have up to two NWS days per month. I think a special work celebration would be worth it to me unless I had other special days planned for the month. Welcome, and enjoy!

Interesting. I eat such a light breakfast compared to my other meals. I could definitely make lunch the biggest meal and do a light supper I think, but I'd struggle with a big breakfast. I just don't feel like a lot of food then (and I often wait an hour or two before eating too).

I think there is something "in the environment" in Europe that makes its food less obesogenic! I mean, like, I feel there may be something different there about the air or water. This is totally unscientific but I have noticed that every time I go to Germany, I consistently drop weight without tryi...

Any one scale measurement is pretty meaningless. Look at how your weight yo-yo-ed back when you posted on the 11th--one day was 2 lbs. higher than the previous one. Reinhard suggests weighing several times and taking an average to try to get an accurate weight. I weigh daily (because I want to--it's...
